Half a Million Jeep Vehicles to be Built at New Ohio Production Facility

The Jeep brand is built on a rich past with very deep roots in America.  With this is mind, it makes sense that the company is building a new production facility in Toledo, Ohio, an industrial city with strong historical ties to the automaker.

Today in Toledo there is an area known as the Overland Industrial Park, which is a complex that was once called Willys-Overland Motors.  On this property from 1888 until 2006 stood the century-old Toledo Jeep Plant, which is where many of the very first Jeep models were produced.

Here at All American Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Midland we can't wait for the first of the new vehicles to roll off the production line and onto our lot.  At the same time, we will see an all-new Grand Cherokee and the return of an old favorite, the Cherokee nameplate.

The plan is for the new plant to produce the Grand Cherokee and the Wrangler, a task that will create over 1,300 new jobs for the area.
