Here on the All American Chrysler Jeep Dodge blog, we like to share the latest automotive rumors with our readers in the greater Midland, TX area.  Sometimes they're rumors that we'd love to become a reality, but other times, we really hope that they're nothing based on fact.  There had been a rumor circulating that Chrysler could be moving away from one of our favorite marketing strategies of all time, and today we're happy to report that this is 100 percent not true.

The Super Bowl draws millions of viewers every year, so we know that most people are familiar with the 'Imported from Detroit' campaign that first debuted during the 2011 football game.  It was first done as a collaboration with Eminem, another successful Detriot export, and many more ads have been made to promote new Chrysler models starring Motor City alumni such as fashion designer John Varvatos, rapper Dr. Dre, and Motown Records founder Berry Gordy.

And as the saying goes, why mess with a good thing?

So instead of replacing this phrase, the automaker wants to evolve its usage and come up with new, innovative ideas to further the brand.  Most of all, the marketing team at Chrysler headquarters want to remind people that they can find luxury, style, and the latest tech features right here in an American-made vehicle.

We'll have our eyes peeled for what this means for the slogan, and in the meantime, we invite you to come down to our showroom to get a closer look at all of our vehicles that are, as the slogan says, made in Detroit.
