The Charger's crash-mitigation system, a feature which assesses the risk of a frontal collision, and if the driver does not respond, ultimately apples the brakes autonomously to slow the vehicle prior to impact. This remarkable feat of engineering is available now on the 2017 Dodge Charger. We invite you to visit All American Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Midland to test drive any of the new Chargers in our inventory, and experience the thrill of driving, safely.
Dodge is very proud to announce that the 2017 Dodge Charger recently earned the highest single rating possible from the U.S. National Highway Safety Administration (NHSTA), five-stars overall! The tests look at frontal and side impacts and rollover resistance, and tested both the real-wheel and all-wheel drive; both versions of the Charger receiving the five-star safety rating. Mike Dahl, Head of Vehicle Safety and Regulatory Compliance, FCA – North America notes that while Dodge is thrilled with the crashworthiness rating, he's just as proud of the advances they've made in "driver-assist technologies that help enable crash mitigation."
